MEET THE OWNER
Meet the Owner
Dwayne Beaton founded Blackstone Construction in 2017 after many years of working in Western Canada and travelling the globe. When Dwayne created Blackstone Construction, he had a team of just two employees (his father and a family friend!), and in the years since, he has grown his team to over 20 employees of talented tradespeople and support staff. A lifelong resident of Inverness County, Dwayne prides himself on giving back to giving back to his community in myriad ways including job creation, corporate sponsorship, and donations to important causes. In his free time, Dwayne is a judo coach and mentor, having been a decorated athlete in that sport in his youth. Dwayne is excited about the current and future growth of Inverness County and Cape Breton Island as a whole, and he is thrilled that Blackstone Construction is an important part of that growth.
